NEW! Bengal Tiger Encounter (April 12-13) – This exotic animal production brings you an inspirational and educational program featuring the Incredible Bengal Tiger. These tigers are helping to educate the public on the loss of habitat and the killing of tigers for profit in India and Asia. These tigers are loved and protected as well as cared for by loving trainers. They consume 12-14 lbs. of beef or chicken daily and undergo regular medical checkups by a certified Vet.
FESTIVAL FAVORITE! – The Fearless Flores Family (April 12-13) – Finalists on 2011 America’s Got Talent – Watch 10-year old Volorian and 14-year old Cyndel ride their motorcycles together in the Globe of Death along with their mom and dad. See how they impressed the judges and America on NBC TV’s hit show, America’s Got Talent.
A Grizzly Experience (April 12-13) – A Grizzly Experience brings to you an in-depth, up-close and personal look into the life of North America’s most prestigious predator, the Alaskan Grizzly Bear. Tonk, our 7 foot tall, 600 pound Grizzly Bear; Yogi, our 3 year old, 250 Grizzly; and Maggie, our 7 month old, 60 pound Brown Bear cub, delight crowds of all ages with their impressive sizes and amazing behaviors. www.grizzlyexperience.com
NEW! Those Funny Little People (April 18-19) – Those Funny Little People is a one-of-a-kind entertainment company with life-sized puppets who dance, sing and make people laugh. The Little People have been in several theater productions such as The Wizard of Oz. Making their television debut in 2011, Those Funny Little People appeared on the TV show America’s Got Talent as four elves, an agent and a showgirl. The group resonated with audiences everywhere and placed within the top 36 acts.
NEW! Stingray Encounter (April 18-19) – Live wild stringrays that you can touch! The only traveling attraction of its kind in America! Southern rays (Dasyatis Americana) are very friendly and can grow up to six feet across. Cow Nose rays (Rhinoptera Bonasus) are hearty eaters and have good eyesight. As a species, stingrays are very smart. They are captured at approximately 3 to 4 years of age, on display for about a year then returned to the wild. www.sealifeencounters.com
Ridgeland Easter Egg Hunt (April 18-19) – Peter Cottontail will make a visit to Freedom Ridge Park on Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19. The city’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held during KidFest! Ridgeland. Check the schedule for age groups and times.
Gator Boys Alligator Wrestling (April 18-19) – Jimmy Riffle of the hit show Gator Boys as seen on Animal Planet. Watch him subdue fully grown alligators while risking life and limb. Meet and talk with him after each show. Please refer to schedule for performance times.
